Dodger Stadium crackled with tension and promise as Game 3 opened. From the first pitch, L.A. struck quickly: Shohei Ohtani lashed a leadoff triple and Mookie Betts followed with a double to drive him home — the Dodgers were on the board early.
Milwaukee answered right back in the top of the second. Caleb Durbin roared a triple into the gap, and Jake Bauers sneaked in a single to knot the game 1–1.
But this was when the Dodgers' resolve showed. Tyler Glasnow, sharp and fierce, carried them through 5⅔ innings, giving up just one run and punching out eight batters.
In the bottom of the sixth, L.A. pounced. Will Smith singled in Tommy Edman, reclaiming the lead. Chaos followed: a wild pickoff throw by reliever Abner Uribe allowed Freddie Freeman to dash home for a 3–1 cushion.
From there, the bullpen locked the door. RΕki Sasaki closed out a perfect ninth. In between, Mookie Betts made a jaw-dropping defensive play in the late innings — ranging deep, snagging a grounder, and whipping it to first to preserve the lead.
Final: Dodgers 3, Brewers 1. L.A. now leads the NLCS 3–0, one win away from a return to the World Series.
